Safety shoot in Hardwood Hearts

Safety Moon Shoot in Hardwood Hearts

Shooting the moon or the sun in a game of Hearts can be a thrilling experience, but it's important to keep in mind that if you succeed in taking all the points, your opponents will end up with those points instead of you. However, there's an exception to this rule. If shooting the moon or the sun would cause the game to end without you winning, it is automatically done what's called a Safety Shoot.

A Safety Shoot will remove the points from your score instead of adding them to the other players. This gives you a chance to still win the game. With no reason not to do it, Safety shoot is always done when the game is about to end and it gives you a chance to still come out victorious.
